Willis Towers Watson eyes expansion in Africa

U.K.-based insurance broker Willis Towers Watson P.L.C. plans to set up operations in 14 African countries, Ecofin Agency reported. Adam Garrard, head of international operations at WTW, said that the insurance broker is in talks to expand its business in Algeria, Benin, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Guinea, Liberia, Madagascar, Niger and Sierra Leone among other countries. Mr. Garrard said that Willis Towers Watson is looking to expand to the Anglophone countries in Africa.
