Alliant Insurance Services acquires Texas broker

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. said Monday that has acquired CLS Partners L.L.C., an Austin, Texas-based employee benefits and risk management brokerage.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

CLS Partners was founded in 2008 and has more than 50 employees, Newport Beach, California-based Alliant said in a statement. The CLS Partners management team and staff will continue to operate from its offices in Austin and Dallas.

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. is the 10th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
