OSHA cites contractor for lack of fall protection

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspected and cited Melbourne, Florida-based Bluewater Construction Solutions Inc. as part of the agency's Regional Emphasis Program for Falls in Construction, according to a statement published Tuesday.
“Employers are required to install fall protection systems when employees work at heights of 6 feet or above,” Condell Eastmond, OSHA Fort Lauderdale area office director, said in the statement. “This employer is putting workers at risk of serious injury by failing to comply with these standards.”
