Sompo to expand transport business amid rise in online shopping: Official

Laurent Blasquez, president for France at Bermuda-based Sompo International Holdings Ltd., said that the insurer is looking to expand its operations in the transport segment amid a rise in online shopping, L’argus de l’assurance reported. Mr. Blasquez said that the insurer is looking to cover logistics chains, hubs and delivery vehicles for online platforms.
