Everest taps former Marsh exec to head specialty insurance

Everest Insurance said Wednesday that former Marsh L.L.C. executive David Nikolai been named head of its specialty insurance group.

Mr. Nikolai, who is based in Carmel, Indiana, will report to Mike Karmilowicz. He replaces Greg Mosher who left the company earlier this year, an Everest spokesman said.

Mr. Nikolai came to Everest from Marsh, where he was most recently managing director and partnership leader for the North Central region.

The specialty insurance group offers insurance for the sports, leisure, and entertainment industry. Everest Insurance is a unit of Everest Re Group Ltd.
