Storms, flood likely to cause €430 million in insured losses

The French Federation of Insurance said that recent storms and floods are likely to have caused €430 million in insured losses in the country, Artemis.bm reports. The federation said that local insurers have received 214,000 claims-related to the catastrophes. Heavy rains, hails and floods damaged commercial properties, disrupted business operations and destroyed vine yards and crops across the country. The storms struck the region between May 25 and June 14.
