Fire likely to disrupt power, steam supply at petrochemical plant
Posted On: Jun. 25, 2018 6:06 AM CSTA fire that broke out at Japan-based Mitsui Chemicals Inc.'s plant in Osaka on June 21 is likely to disrupt supply of electricity, water and steam to its petrochemical facilities, Reuters reported. A spokesman for Mitsui Chemicals said that the company may consider alternative sources of electricity and steam to supply the plant’s petrochemical facilities. The fire was extinguished on June 22.
