Bermuda amends insurance laws to establish insurtech hub

David Burt, premier of Bermuda, said that the country is amending insurance laws to allow licensed insurers or insurance intermediaries to test financial technology for a limited number of clients, Bernews reported. Mr. Burt said that local insurers can create innovative insurtech products in a live environment for a limited time period under the new laws.
