Association calls for insurance uptake to protect bankers

V.G. Kannan, the association's chief executive, said that bank officials are increasingly facing investigations and litigation from government agencies. R. Chandrasekaran, secretary general of India's General Insurance Council, said that insurers may need to design a new product for bankers.
