MS Amlin to provide reinsurance to New India Assurance

U.K.-based insurer and reinsurer MS Amlin P.L.C. will provide reinsurance for protection and indemnity insurance policies in India, Business Line reported citing sources.  MS Amlin is partnering with insurer New India Assurance Co. Ltd. to cover the insurer's protection and indemnity cover for Indian-registered ships that ply local routes. The fixed premium P&I cover has a limit of $5 million per vessel.
