Lockton appoints president for San Diego operations

The Lockton Cos. L.L.C. said Monday it has named Sallie Giblin to be president of its San Diego operations.

Ms. Giblin succeeds Jim Skeen, the founding president of Lockton’s San Diego office, who will continue to serve on the Pacific operation’s executive committee and hold the title of founder, Lockton said in a statement.

Mr. Skeen joined Lockton to start its San Diego operations in 2002. Lockon has about 75 staff and 300 clients in the San Diego area, according to the statement. 

Ms. Giblin, named in Business Insurance’s “Women to Watch” in 2011, has been with Lockton for 12 years, most recently as executive vice president. She will continue her client and business development responsibilities as president of the San Diego office.
