Acrisure appoints William Malloy as specialty division president

Acrisure L.L.C. said Tuesday that it has named William Malloy president of its specialty division.
Mr. Malloy, former worldwide president of Marsh Inc., joined the New York-based investment firm Aquiline Capital Partners L.L.C. in 2007 as an operating partner, where he served in chairman and CEO roles, Caledonia, Michigan-based Acrisure said in a statement.
In January, Acrisure, the 14th-largest broker of U.S. business according to the latest Business Insurance ranking, purchased the Bermuda-based reinsurance brokerage Beach & Associates Ltd. from Aquiline Capital Partners.
