Government urged to make law expanding Pool Re’s underwriting

The U.K.'s insurance industry has urged the government to change insurance laws to allow terrorism reinsurer Pool Reinsurance Co. Ltd. to also sell business interruption coverage, City A.M. reported. John Glen, the country's city minister, earlier announced that the government would allow Pool Re to extend its policies to include business interruption, but it can’t start providing cover without enabling legislation.
