UK businesses suffer most data breaches in Europe: Report

A report by U.S.-based data security firm Thales e-Security Inc. found that businesses in the United Kingdom suffered the most data breaches of all European countries in 2017, ITProportal.com. The report found that cyber attacks hit 37% of U.K. businesses, compared with 33% in Germany, 30% in Sweden and 27% in the Netherlands. The total number of attacks in Europe surged to 67% from 43% in 2016, the report added.
