Aon to set up center to help businesses manage weather risk

U.K.-based insurance and reinsurance broker Aon P.L.C. is setting up a new innovation center to help businesses and governments across the world respond to climate and weather-related risks, Artemis.bm reports. The Aon Weather and Climate Risk Innovation center will offer risk financing and transfer strategies to help businesses improve their resilience. Aon will focus on risk quantification and reducing the cost of capital for climate mitigation among other measures.
