JLT Specialty USA hires former Marsh energy leader

JLT Specialty USA, a unit of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C., on Friday said former Marsh USA Inc. practice leader Rob Hausler has been appointed executive vice president.

Based in Houston, Mr. Hausler comes to JLT directly from Marsh USA, where he was U.S. energy and power practice leader, JLT said in statement. In this newly created position, JLT said, he will play a role in managing accounts and transactions, mentoring colleagues and business development.

In a statement, Jim Pierce, deputy co-chair of global specialty and head of energy, power and mining at JLT Specialty USA, said Mr. Hausler is “a client-first professional.”
