Singapore broker, Hong Kong insurer to offer insurance using blockchain

Ltd. has partnered with Hong Kong-based online insurer FWD Ltd. to use blockchain technology to offer insurance products, Tech Wire Asia reported. Val Ji-Hsuan Yap, founder of PolicyPal, said that the insurance broker will offer the products through its digital platform, while FWD plans to develop insurance products that are specially designed for the blockchain marketplace.
