Ice storm causes $66 million in insured losses

The Insurance Bureau of Canada said that the ice storm that hit Ontario and Quebec in April caused $85 million Canada ($66 million) in insured losses, Globalnews.ca reported. The bureau said that more than 145,000 homes were left without power due to the storm. The storm lashed the region from April 14 to April 16.
