Property/casualty premiums rise 5% worldwide: Allianz

Thailand-based Allianz Ayudhya Assurance P.C.L. said that property/casualty premiums grew 5% year over year across the world in 2017, The Nation reported. Total global insurance premiums grew nearly 4% to €3.7 trillion ($4.5 trillion) excluding health insurance. Premiums in Asia, excluding Japan, increased more than 10% compared with a rise of 2% in Western Europe. Premiums in India grew more than 30%.
