Logistics firms seek mandatory insurance for transported goods: Report
Posted On: Apr. 18, 2018 5:55 AM CSTA report by logistics firm Transport Corporation of India Ltd. and educational institution Insurance Institute of India said that logistics service providers should approach the Indian Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to make insurance mandatory for transported goods, The Hindu Business Line reported. The report said that it is difficult to set limits on liability as logistics services have become integrated with supply chains.
