Marsh revamps RMIS unit leadership after Dell exits

Marsh L.L.C. is realigning the leadership of its Marsh ClearSight unit following the departure of Janet Dell, who was CEO of the risk management information systems provider.
Ms. Dell last month took a position outside of the insurance industry, joining Freeman Co., a Dallas-based event and brand management company, as chief growth officer in Chicago.
Marsh said in a statement that Kevin Tobin, president and CEO of Marsh Insurance Services Group, has assumed leadership of Marsh ClearSight, which offers RMIS systems and other risk management and claims software. No further details were available.
Ms. Dell joined Marsh’s RMIS arm, which was known as CS Stars L.L.C. before being renamed Marsh ClearSight in 2015, more than 10 years ago. She took on increasingly senior roles at the unit before moving to the main brokerage as chief operating officer, global sales in 2014. She returned to Marsh ClearSight as CEO last year.
Ms. Dell was named one of Business Insurance’s Women to Watch in 2012.
