Russian bank seeks nearly $7 million from ex-chairman

Russia-based Tatfondbank P.J.S.C. has filed a claim with the Commercial Court of Tatarstan to include $6.7 million of its former chairman's debt in the creditors' list, Rapsi reported. The bank has also lodged a motion against Robert Musin, its former chairman, seeking $3.4 million for large-scale fraud. Investigators said that the bank's employees provided false data to the country's central bank to obtain credit and subsequently embezzle the funds in August 2016.
