Cyber attacks cost financial institutions, governments $3.5 billion: Report
Posted On: Apr. 11, 2018 5:45 AM CSTA report by Kenya-based IT services firm Serianu Ltd. found that cyber attacks cost African financial institutions and governments $3.5 billion in 2017, Journal du Cameroun reported. Banks and financial institutions in 10 African countries lost $248 million, while governments lost $204 million due to cyber attacks.
