UK tries to reassure insurers about Brexit transition

U.K. financial regulators are trying to reassure insurers that there will be a transition period to ease their adjustment to Brexit, Bloomberg reported. The country's central bank said that insurers can "plan on the assumption that U.K. authorization or recognition will only be needed by the end of the implementation period." A transition period was agreed on in principle at a European Union summit this month.
