Munich Re looks to scale-up ILS relationships

Munich Reinsurance Co. sees opportunities to scale-up its relationship with insurance-linked securities and the capital markets as a way to secure retrocession for its own book, Artemis.bm reports. Munich Re is also looking at the capital markets to earn fees by providing services to the ILS sector and help its clients access investor-backed capacity.
