Brit recruits property executive

Brit Ltd. has named Neil Walker as head of UK property, effective Feb. 12, the company said in a statement Friday.

Mr. Walker will be responsible for leading and building out Brit’s UK property offering as well as working with its specialist liability team to align Brit’s UK property and casualty proposition, the statement said.

He will be based at the specialty insurer's London headquarters and will report to Tom Hillier, divisional director of specialist liability.

Mr. Walker joins Brit from Marsh L.L.C., where he was most recently UK placement leader for Marsh Propositions, responsible for the strategic development of a number of lines including education, health care, private clients and public sector, the statement said.
