Climate change threatens insurance affordability, coverage: Study
Posted On: Mar. 14, 2018 6:05 AM CSTA study by the Climate Service Center Germany found that climate-related risks threaten insurance affordability and coverage and could result in insurers exiting some markets or certain segments becoming uninsurable, Daily Planet reported. The study said that continuous efforts are needed to address underlying risks, monitor trends, and seek innovative solutions to prevent catastrophes which trigger sudden withdrawals or steep price hikes.
