Russia's reinsurance market declines

Data from the Central Bank of Russia showed that Russia's inward reinsurance market declined nearly 3% in 2017, while the outward reinsurance market fell 17.6%, Xprimm.com reported. Volume of reinsurance premiums ceded to foreign reinsurers decreased 23% year over year, while premiums ceded to local reinsurers increased 12%.
