Polish insurer offers D&O cover for healthcare industry

Poland-based insurer TUW Polski Zaklad Ubezpieczen Wzajemnych plans to offer a directors and officer's insurance product for the healthcare industry, Xprimm.com reported. The new product offers civil liability insurance for management of medical organizations, including hospitals and clinics. The D&O cover protects management representatives of healthcare entities, including hospital directors, clinics and members of supervisory authorities against the financial consequences of wrong management decisions and omissions or breaches of procedures.
