The low-pressure system primarily affected France in early March 2017, causing major wind gusts as high as 193 kph (120 mph) in the northern part of the country, the Zurich-based catastrophe loss data company said Tuesday in a statement.
The insured losses from Zeus were initially estimated at about €192 million, but the company raised its estimate to €284 million in September before issuing its lower final insured loss figure Tuesday.
