Storms cause power outage, disrupt train service

Wind and hail storms in southeast Queensland in Australia downed hundreds of power lines causing an outage at around 57,000 properties on Feb. 11, The Guardian reported citing the Australian Associated Press. Train services on the Gold Coast and Beenleigh railway lines were delayed due to the storm. Forecasters said that the region is likely to be hit by more thunderstorms across Brisbane and the Gold and Sunshine coasts on Feb. 12.
