Global power utilities at risk from cyber attacks
Posted On: Feb. 1, 2018 4:44 AM CSTA survey by U.S.-based consultancy firm Ernst & Young L.L.P. found that global power utilities are not equipped to deal with increasingly frequent and unpredictable cyber security threats, Energy Live News reported. The survey found that 58% of power utilities anticipate difficulties in monitoring their digital network, compared with 36% across other sectors and industries. The survey also found that 85% of firms had not implemented an incident response program mainly due to financial constraints.
