Global warming to increase flooding

The report found that fluvial floods are among the most common and devastating natural disasters. The report called for an increase in flood protection measures across the world, breaking it down to single regions and cities. The need for adaptation is greatest in the US, Africa, parts of India and Indonesia and in Central Europe, the report added.
