Axis Capital prepares for future growth

Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. plans to streamline operations by combining its ceded reinsurance and third-party capital business into a single risk-funding department, Asia Insurance Review reported. The insurer is also launching a global wnderwriting and analytics unit, which will partner with its underwriting, claims, and actuarial teams to provide greater insights, resources and tools. The organizational changes are expected to be in place during the second quarter of 2018.
