Chubb names Moghrabi head of strategic partnerships

Chubb Ltd. has named Jeff Moghrabi, currently its division president of continental Europe, to the newly created role of senior vice president of strategic partnerships, the insurer said Friday.

Based in Paris, Mr. Moghrabi will be replaced as of March 1 as continental Europe president by Adam Clifford, who is now country president for Singapore, subject to regulatory approval.

Chubb said in its announcement that Mr. Moghrabi’s appointment follows the strategic cooperation agreement between Chubb and Beijing, China-based PICC Property & Casualty Co. of China, which was announced in November. 

Chubb said in his new role, Mr. Moghrabi will be responsible for using Chubb’s global capabilities in support of PICC’s customers and those of other Chinese-affiliated companies around the world in line with the Chinese government’s drive to promote the country’s “Going Out” and “One Belt One Road” initiatives.

He will remain in Paris for now, according to a spokesman.
