IICF to honor Deborah Babcock

The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Midwest Division will honor Deborah Babcock during its seventh annual Blazing the Trail Benefit on March 8 in Chicago.
Ms. Babcock, associate director of the Katie School of Insurance at Illinois State University in Normal, is being honored for her philanthropic leadership and service to the foundation, IICF said Wednesday in a statement.
Mary Kate Callahan, member of USA World Championship Paratriathlon Teams and an advocate for Paralympic programming will be a featured speaker at the benefit.
Proceeds from the benefit will go to the Midwest Division’s Community Grants Program, which help support nonprofit organizations focused in the areas of health education, and safety, according to the statement.
