Israel imposes $22-million fine on pharmaceutical firm

The State Prosecutor's Office in Israel has fined Israel-based Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. $22 million for its involvement in corruption in Eastern Europe and Mexico, Jewishpress.com reported citing Channel 12. According to the findings of an investigation, the firm made "corrupt payments" to public employees in Russia and Ukraine and improper payments in Mexico, and generated $220 million in profits.
