World Bank pushes for climate resilience in cities

The World Bank Group will provide technical assistance and $4.5 billion in funding, under its City Resilience Program, to help 150 cities across the world prepare for and respond to the impacts of climate change, Artemis reports. The World Bank has collaborated with the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy for the initiative, which will utilize resources from the International Finance Corp. and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency.
