Most supply chain organizations not ready for natural disasters

A survey by Norway-based risk management firm DNV GL Group A.S. found that 75% of supply-chain organizations have not made their services resilient to natural disasters, The Strategic Sourceror reported. The study found that majority of organizations cited heat waves, storms and floods as major concerns. The strategies to make supply chains resilient to natural disasters and other disruptions include both reaction and mitigation, an expert said.
