Cryptocurrency exchange files for bankruptcy following cyber attack
Posted On: Dec. 20, 2017 4:19 AM CSTSouth Korea-based cryptocurrency exchange operator Yapian halted trading at its crypto-exchange Youbit and filed for bankruptcy following a cyber attack on Dec. 19, Business Insider reported citing The Wall Street Journal. The hackers stole 17% of the exchange's digital currency holdings. Yapian had experienced a similar attack in April.
