Hurricane Maria causes more than $50 million of damage to Dominica's port: Official

Benoit Bardouille, chief executive of Dominica Air and Seaport Authority, said that hurricane Maria caused $51 million worth of damage to the island's port infrastructure, WIC News reported. "We suffered damage at the cruise ship berth and we are working to bring the cruise ship berth in Roseau back in operation, hopefully in January of 2018," Mr. Bardouille said. The port's ferry terminal was also damaged, he added.
