Flash floods cause $8 million of damage in Jamaica

Homer David, mayor of Montego Bay city in Jamaica, said that flash floods on Nov. 22 caused an estimated $1 billion Jamaica ($8 million) worth of damage, Jamaica Observer reported. Mr. David said that the floods damaged roads, drains, and vehicles as well as disrupted economic activity in the region.
