Insurers look to Asia particularly Hong Kong for M&As: Willis Towers Watson

A report by Willis Towers Watson P.L.C. found that global insurers adopting a mergers and acquisitions strategy to grow revenues and tap new technologies are looking overseas to Asia and particularly to Hong Kong for opportunities, Asia Insurance Review reported. The report found that only 5% of insurers currently generate more than half of their profits overseas, while 15% expect to do so in the next three years.
