Navigators Group Inc. said Tuesday that Michael J. McKenna has been promoted to the newly created role of chief underwriting officer for the U.S. insurance segment.
Mr. McKenna, formerly president of U.S. marine, will continue to report to Vincent C. Tizzio, president of U.S. insurance, Stamford, Connecticut-based Navigators said in a statement.
Since joining Navigators in 2010, Mr. McKenna has served in a range of positions within the U.S. marine division. He also previously led the U.S. excess and surplus lines property division. He will continue to oversee both divisions, Navigators said.
Mr. McKenna is based in Iselin, New Jersey, and is a member of the company's global leadership team.
Anthony N. Plutino will succeed Mr. McKenna as head of U.S. marine. He joins Navigators from Morristown, New Jersey-based Crum & Forster, where he was head of U.S. marine. He also will be based in Iselin.
The Navigators Group Inc. has named Jacob Ingerslev to the newly-created positon of global practice leader for cyber liability, the Stamford, Connecticut-based insurer said Wednesday.
