Willis Towers Watson names head of global services and solutions

Willis Towers Watson P.L.C. has named Janet Pane head of global services and solutions within its corporate risk and broking segment, effective immediately.
In the newly created position, Ms. Pane will be based in New York and report to John Merkovsky, head of risk and analytics for corporate risk and broking, and Tammy Matson, global head of GSS, the brokerage said Thursday in a statement.
Ms. Pane will be responsible for multinational clients after moving from her current role as head of market relationship governance, according to the statement.
Ms. Pane was named a 2012 Business Insurance’s Women to Watch honoree.
