Swiss Re names casualty, financial lines insurance head for North America

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions on Tuesday named Jeff Summerville as head of casualty, financial and professional services North America, effective immediately.

He succeeds Robley Moor, who moved to the insurer’s sales organization as a key account manager in the summer, according to statement from the corporate insurance unit of Swiss Re Ltd.

Mr. Summerville, who is based in New York, will oversee the North American casualty business in addition to his current responsibilities as the leader of financial and professional lines, Swiss Re said.

Mr. Summerville has managed the unit’s North American financial and professional lines businesses since 2014.
