Marsh appoints Fahrig to head Continental Europe

Marsh L.L.C. named Dusseldorf, Germany-based Siegmund Fahrig CEO of its Continental Europe region, the company announced Tuesday.

The appointment is effective immediately, Marsh said in a statement.

Mr. Fahrig succeeds Flavio Piccolomini, who was recently appointed CEO of Marsh’s International Division. Previously, Mr. Fahrig served as CEO of Marsh’s operations in Germany, Central & Eastern Europe and CIS, according to a statement. 

“Siegmund’s impressive track record of building strong client relationships make him ideally suited to continue the expansion of our offering in Continental Europe,” said Mr. Piccolomini in a statement. “I look forward to working closely with Siegmund to deliver superior services and solutions to our clients across the region.”
