Storm halts production at Toyota plant

Andrew Kirby, president of Toyota South Africa Motors (Pty.) Ltd., said that the automaker halted production at its plant in Prospecton in Durban due to damage suffered during a storm that hit the city on Oct. 10, IOL.co.za reported. Mr. Kirby said buildings, equipment and vehicles on the assembly line had suffered significant damage.
