Former JLT exec joins Alliant's aviation practice

Wayne Wignes, a veteran insurance executive, has joined Alliant Insurance Services Inc. as senior vice president in its aviation practice, the Newport Beach, California-based broker said Tuesday.

Prior to joining Alliant, Mr. Wignes was vice chairman with JLT Aerospace North America, a division of London-based Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C.

Based in Chicago, Mr. Wignes will provide targeted risk management and insurance solutions to a national portfolio of clients, Alliant said in a statement.

“The addition of Wayne Wignes adds a vital element of strength, experience, and innovation to our practice and positions us for continued expansion into new industry sectors,” Michael Throne, executive vice president within Alliant’s aviation practice.
