Guy Carpenter names chief innovation officer

Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C. on Wednesday said it named Claude Yoder managing director and global chief innovation and product development officer, effective Sept. 18.

Mr. Yoder will be based in New York and report to Rob Bentley, managing director and head of global strategic advisory, the reinsurance intermediary division of Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. said in a statement. Mr. Yoder was most recently head of Marsh Global Analytics.

“We are delighted to announce the addition of Claude. He brings more than 25 years of experience in primary insurance, underwriting, risk management, product development and research and development to Guy Carpenter,” Mr. Bentley said in the statement.
